CHOOSE A TRUSTED LEADER IN INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION
WITH OVER 20 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN HOSTING CUSTOM AND FACULTY-LED PROGRAMS
Getting Started
ISI Abroad’s University Relations staff will be available for you from day one of the planning process. You’re welcome to contact us with your program dates, budget, destination, and the trips and activities you would like to include. You can also send us a message (see chat icon in the lower right-hand corner) and request a call or zoom meeting to discuss your program ideas. We have dozens of pre-made activities and excursions to choose from and can help suggest options that best complement your desired learning objectives. We can even teach courses based on syllabi provided.
Promoting Your Course
Once your program is planned and approved, you need to recruit students. Recruiting can be a daunting task, especially if there is a need to reach the group ‘minimum’ to ensure the successful launch of your program. ISI Abroad works to support your efforts by:
● providing creatively designed promotional flyers
● drafting a landing page on our website where students can access program-specific details;
● running social media ads targeting students on your campus;
● providing images, PowerPoint presentations, and/or press releases; and more!
Preparing to Go Abroad
So you have a group of students excited about attending your program; now it’s time to make sure they are well-informed and well-prepared for the experience. ISI Abroad’s University Relations team is ready to help with all aspects of the application and pre-departure process. We can offer virtual pre-departure webinars (in-person sessions available for some locations), provide visa guidance, answer questions from students and their families, advise on flights, arrival, what to pack, and more.
Faculty can focus on teaching; we will handle the rest
ISI Abroad not only assists in the promotion, recruitment and pre-departure processes, we also provide a full-range of services while abroad. Our on-location teams can arrange airport greeting, transportation, orientation, student help desk and support for student health and travel emergencies. We manage housing issues (including any encountered by faculty), and coordinate field trip logistics. This allows professors to focus exclusively on teaching. Past professors have reported that they feel free to travel, research, meet with students, or engage in other cultural activities outside of class time knowing ISI’s support staff is always available when needed.
