ISI Abroad as a Pre-Approved Provider of Study Abroad
ISI Abroad is committed to providing students with a safe and rewarding educational experience of exceptional quality both in and out of the classroom, supported by a wide variety of cultural immersion and exchange opportunities. Our over 50 university partners and affiliates share our goals and objectives and recognize our institutes as providers of top-notch academic and student services.
How it Works
Most colleges and universities sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ISI Abroad in order to establish the parameters for partnership with our institutions overseas. This MOU typically outlines topics such as the billing process, credit transfer options, promotional support, etc. ISI Abroad does not establish minimum enrollment requirements and is open to discussing collaborative scholarship opportunities. Partnering institutions can opt to partner with all ISI Abroad programs, or select limited destination or curricular concentration options that best meet the needs of their student body.

Accreditation & Memberships
ISI Abroad programs are members of AACUPI (the American Association of College and University Programs in Italy) and courses are accredited by the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges through their partnerships with US Colleges and Universities as well as local Italian Institutions. Arcadia University and Roger Williams University support the Umbra Institute and ISI Florence (respectively) as underwriters for our academic programs in-person and online. In addition, ISI Abroad is an active member of NAFSA and the Forum on Education Abroad, as well as EduItalia.
