I decided to study in Italy because I’d wanted to go ever since I was a kid. Italy is wonderful and Perugia is a unique city, but the real reason I loved it was the people I met there. Whether it was a professor telling us about Italian culture or bothering the staff with dozens of travel questions, the people are truly the best part of Umbra.
Have you started packing for your semester abroad yet? Are you coming to Florence or Perugia to live the Italian experience in a few weeks? Or are you just travelling to Italy soon? Have you seen the view from #PiazzaleMichelangelo ?
When studying with @isiflorence just cross the Arno River, hike up the steps (maybe stop at the gardens to smell the roses), and once you reach the top you can take in this view!
So is the @umbrainstitute ‘s tandem language night - an evening in which students meet locals, explore different parts of the city, and practice their Italian.
