I decided to study in Italy because I’d wanted to go ever since I was a kid. Italy is wonderful and Perugia is a unique city, but the real reason I loved it was the people I met there. Whether it was a professor telling us about Italian culture or bothering the staff with dozens of travel questions, the people are truly the best part of Umbra.
Our PSU Marketing class had a very interesting field trip to Il Papiro! 📜⚜️
This Florentine establishment was founded in 1976 and for almost 50 year they have been making their unique “marbled paper” by hand. Our students had the chance to emboss their own leather bookmarks, book-bind a notebook and even try their hand at paper printing at the workshop! 📚
Thank you so much to @ilpapirofirenze for having us, we had so much fun! 🫶🏻✨
It`s Pride month! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ ISI Florence celebrates its diverse student body and joins the global effort in recognizing dignity and human rights for all. Equal rights are beneficial not only to the individual but also to society as a whole. There are many Pride events happening not only in Florence and Tuscany, but all throughout Italy. ❤️🎉 — #isiflorence #pridemonth #toscanapride #lgbtq #takeitisi...
More Gelato in Perugia with the Gelato Making workshop in the Writing Italian Food course 🍧
Today Matteo from the Gelato University Carpigiani showed us how to make artisanal gelato. The starting point to make a good artisanal gelato is to use seasonal products and to calculate the right amount of each component to reach the perfect texture.
